What is the PTE Exam?
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a globally recognized English language proficiency test used by universities, employers, and governments to assess your Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking skills.
Unlike traditional English tests, PTE Academic is completely computer-based, which means it's more objective and provides faster results – typically within 48 hours.
The test is accepted by thousands of institutions worldwide, including universities in Australia, the UK, the USA, Canada, and New Zealand.

Test Duration and Structure
The PTE Academic test typically takes about three hours to complete and includes several distinct sections with specific time allocations.
Start Practicing- Introduction: An untimed introduction that will help you get familiar with the test.
- Part 1 - Speaking & Writing: 77-93 minutes to complete tasks that assess your speaking and writing abilities.
- Optional Break: 10-minute break.
- Part 2 - Reading: 32-41 minutes to complete tasks that assess your reading abilities.
- Part 3 - Listening: 45-57 minutes to complete tasks that assess your listening abilities.
Scoring System
Each section of the PTE Academic is scored on a scale of 10 to 90, and the overall score is the average of the four sections
